Elliotte Friedman confirms Jacob Trouba's fate with the New York Rangers: Trade incoming

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has just confirmed Jacob Trouba will be traded within the next 24 hours after latest development.

Earlier this morning Larry Brooks of the New York Post revealed that Trouba won't be participating in the Rangers morning skate, and won't play in tonight's game due to Roster Management.
BREAKING. First shoe/skate is dropping. Post has learned that Jacob Trouba will not be on the ice today for purposes of roster management. Will not play tonight. Expect Victor Mancini to be recslled.

Followed by the report several others have indicated that this is happening because the Rangers are set to place Trouba on waivers or even trade him.
BREAKING: Jacob Trouba is not playing tonight despite being fully healthy, per multiple reports. Victor Mancini is being recalled. #NYR 

Early reports are indicating Trouba might be imminently traded OR placed on waivers today.

Per league source, Jacob Trouba will not be skating with the #NYR  for «roster management» purposes. Sounds like a ball is in the air, whether it be trade or possible waiving.

Victor Mancini has been recalled.

However, the time has hit 2:00PM and Insider Elliotte Friedman has revealed that Jacob Trouba has NOT been placed on waivers.

Which indicates that the New York Rangers and GM Chris Drury believes they can get a trade completed within the next 24 hours, as pointed out by Arthur Staple:
A CBA FYI: You can't trade a player who's in the waiver window.

So Trouba is not on waivers today because #NYR feel they can complete a trade in the next 24 hours.

Along with that other reports have surfaced that suggest the Anaheim Ducks are now amongst the teams that are interested in Jacob Trouba.
