Emotional Exchange Captured Between Adam Fox And Brandon Montour As The Two Share A Moment Amid ALS Tragedy
An emotional moment was captured between New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox and Seattle Kraken's defenseman Brandon Montour during warmups on Saturday night.
On Saturday night a video was captured between Adam Fox and Brandon Montour sharing an emotional moment as the two unfortunately have someone in their life's who have been effected by Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). A nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
During warmups Saturday, Adam Fox and Brandon Montour had a conversation at center ice during warmups. Fox's father-in-law is battling ALS, and Montour's older brother Cameron died last week due to complications from ALS.
Adam Fox And Brandon Montour Dedicating Their 2025-26 Season To Battling ALS
Just a few weeks ago, Brandon Montour had taken a leave of absence from the Kraken's organization to attend a family matter, unfortunately the heartbreaking truth surfaced that Montour's older brother Cameron passed away last week due to complications from ALS.
"He battled hard ... he was at home battling right until Monday, when it happened. He was smiling right until the end. I'm trying to honour him; I do the best I can every single day regardless of whose here or not. Nothing like that changes, but he's watching down and that's all I can ask." - Brandon Montour stated.
Something that hit's close to home for New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox, as his father-in-law is currently battling ALS. Which has led to Fox to announce that he will contribute and donate $1,023 for each goal, and $523 for each assist, he gets throughout the entire 2025-26 season.
As of right now fox currently sits at a total of $6,207 to donate thus far.
