Saturday night, the New York Rangers announced that they have signed their newly acquired defenseman Will Borgen to a 5-year contract extension worth a $4.1 Million AAV.

As part of Will Borgen's deal, he has a no-movement clause the rest of 2024-25, then partial trade protection for most of the rest of the deal, per a source.
