Mike Sullivan facing an immense amount of backlash after limiting Gabe Perreault's playing time once again

New York Rangers head coach Mike Sullivan is facing significant backlash after limiting top offensive prospects' playing time against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night.
During Saturday night's game, Mike Sullivan decided to make another questionable move after reducing Gabe Perreault's playing time during the second period against the Blue Jackets. Something that has left many fans upset and calling out Sullivan.
"Meant to mention this at the end of the second, but for the second straight game, Sullivan has moved Will Cuylle up to play with Zibanejad and Miller while cutting down on Perreault's TOI. #NYR"
New York Rangers fans not pleased with Mike Sullivan
Unfortunately, many fans are not too pleased with how Sullivan continues to reduce Perreault's playing time mid-game, ultimately saying that he doesn't trust the 20-year-old forward when the game is close.
"So, Gabe knows his coach doesn't trust him. He started slow in AHL then took off after few games.
Gotta feed him 1st line time so he can learn & get experience.
You don't get experience as top wing by getting low TOI in bottom 6.
Also, Cuylle is better suited as a 3rd line force."

Why is Perreault even here? Don't we have Jonny Brodzinski to play on the 3rd line?
Then again, it's important to note that Mike Sullivan is at ice level with Gabe Perreault and sees much more than anyone else. So during a very hard-fought battle against the Blue Jackets on Saturday night, I think it's safe to say Sully made the right decision to make to give the Rangers a better chance at securing a victory.
