The New York Rangers finally won their first game at home. Mike Sullivan commented on the occasion at a conference during practice. The weight has been lifted off their shoulder, defeating the Nashville Predators.

Mike Sullivan was present for a media scrum during practice today, as the head coach commented on the team's latest win.
In turn of irony, the team found a way to win their first game in Madison Square Garden, giving them confidence.
The Rangers fired on all cylinders last night, coming away with a 6-3 victory against the Nashville Predators.
"I think it was important for us, for so many reasons, to get that win."

Mike Sullivan says he sees a weight off the Rangers' shoulders after they got their first home win of the season last night:

The burden of expectations is a heavy one to bear, but they have confronted it and overcome it last night against Andrew Brunette and the Nashville Predators.
The team is now 8-7-2, while maintaining its 4th spot in the Metropolitan Division. They can carry this momentum and positive feeling into the next game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 12th.
The Rangers had more than a few players who had a multi-point game last night.
That included Artemi Panarin (2 G), Vinnie Trocheck (2 A), Alexis Lafreniere (1 G, 2 A), Adam Fox (2 A), and Vladislav Gavrikov (1 G, 1 A).
A successful night for the team, and they demonstrated they can produce when they want to.
Now, it seems as if it's a matter of confidence and execution from here on out. Can they stay consistent?
