Head coach Mike Sullivan speaks out on Gabe Perreaults impact on the New York Rangers first victory at Madison Square Garden this season.
The New York Rangers have finally done it, after a very long awaited period of time in the 2025-26 season the Rangers have finally pulled off their first win at Madison Square Garden this season as they managed to pull off a 6-3 victory against the Nashville Predators.
However, prior to Monday nights game, the Rangers received a much needed confidence boost as to veteran forward Vincent Trocheck and offensive prospect Gabe Perreault were added to the Rangers lineup.
Something that clearly helped the Rangers secure their first victory at Madison Square Garden. With that being said, Mike Sullivan had a few things to say about Perreault's performance.
Mike Sullivan on Gabe Perreault's performance against the Nashville Predators
Following the Rangers game on Monday, Mike Sullivan was asked about Perreault's performance and its safe to say he was very pleased.
Here's what he had to say:
Sullivan on Gabe Perreault: "He makes a real nice play on the power play goal. ... That's not an easy play, and he has the capability of making those types of subtle plays that can help us. For Gabe's first game in the NHL in a while, I thought he did a pretty good job."

Certainly nice to see the Rangers secure a win at Madison Square Garden, hopefully they can keep it going, as their next game will be on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
