New York Rangers Make First Cut From Training Camp Roster: 13-Players Have Officially Packed Their Bags

Just moments ago the New York Rangers organization have completed day-three of Training Camp, and have now confirmed their first wave of cuts from theTraining Camp Roster.

New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced on Saturday evening that the team has cut its Training Camp roster by 13 players after they have just completed day-three of training camp.
The following 13-players who have been cut:
Cavin Hain, Kyle Jackson, Zakary Karpa, Sullivan Mack, Chris Merisier-Ortiz, Cooper Moore, Hugo Ollas and Callum Tung have been assigned to training camp for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Raoul Boilard, Artem Gonchar and Evan Passmore will return to their respective junior teams. Tim Lovell and Corbin Vaughan have been released from their tryouts.

New York Rangers Now Enter Training Camp With 48 Players Remaining

Now that the New York Rangers have completed their first cut of 13-players, the organization still has 48 players remaining on their Training Camp Roster.
Forwards (28): Nathan Aspinall, Brett Berard, Anton Blidh, Brendan Brisson, Jonny Brodzinski, Sam Carrick, Jaroslav Chmelar, Will Cuylle, Justin Dowling, Adam Edstrom, Trey Fix-Wolansky, Noah Laba, Alexis Lafreniere, Bryce McConnell-Barker, J.T. Miller, Brennan Othmann, Artemi Panarin, Juuso Parssinen, Gabe Perreault, Taylor Raddysh, Matt Rempe, Dylan Roobroeck, Conor Sheary, Adam Sykora, Carey Terrance, Vincent Trocheck, Kalle Vaisanen, Mika Zibanejad

Defensemen (16): Will Borgen, Jackson Dorrington, Casey Fitzgerald, Adam Fox, Vladislav Gavrikov, Blake Hillman, Connor Mackey, Case McCarthy, Scott Morrow, Derrick Pouliot, Matthew Robertson, Brandon Scanlin, Braden Schneider, Carson Soucy, Andrej Sustr, Urho Vaakanainen

Goaltenders (4): Talyn Boyko, Dylan Garand, Jonathan Quick, Igor Shesterkin

The Rangers will still need to make another 25-26 cuts before they finalize their official opening-night roster, depending on whether or not they run a 22 or 23 men roster.
However, with that being said, the New York Rangers also have their first preseason game on Sunday Sept. 21, against the New Jersey Devils.
