New York Rangers Receive One Final Cheap Shot From The Boston Bruins After An Embarrassing 5-4 OT Loss
The Boston Bruins organization took one final cheap shot at the New York Rangers on Tuesday night, as they fought back and secured a 5-4 overtime victory after the Rangers entered the third period with a 4-1 lead.
The New York Rangers started strong in their second preseason game against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, something completed switched as the Rangers gave up three goals in the third period. Which ultimately lead to the Bruins securing the game winning goal in OT, thanks to Nikita Zadorov.
However, the embarrassment didn't stop there as several Rangers reporters who were waiting to speak with Mike Sullivan and a few players, stated that the Bruins looker room were blasting Jay-Z's, Empire State of Mind.

The Bruins are trolling in the preseason by blasting Empire State of Mind in their locker room.

Mike Sullivan Isn't Pleased By The New York Rangers Giving Up A 4-1 Lead
Following the game, head coach Mike Sullivan spoke to the media and was asked how he felt about losing the game in overtime after having a 4-1 lead entering the third period, and it's safe to say he wasn't the happiest.
"At the end of the day, I get it, it's an exhibition game. We haven't worked on a lot of things, it's a work in progress. It's not about the loss, it's about how we lost... I think the takeaway is we have to expect more from one another."
Certainly a tough one but the New York Rangers will be back at it again on Thursday night, as they face the New York islanders at 7:00PM.
