New York Rangers Trade Chris Kreider: The Real Reason Was Just Revealed In A Devastating Update
Former New York Rangers star Chris Kreider has just opened up on a major surgery he underwent during the 2024-25 season, his final season as a member of the New York Rangers.
Throughout the 2024-25 season, former New York Rangers veteran forward Chris Kreider suffered an upper-body injury that resulted in him to miss a long period of time, and now Kreider has officially opened up and revealed what that injury was.
Following Kreider missing his sixth consecutive game the New York Rangers organization placed the veteran on Injured Reserve (IR) and just stated that he wasn't dealing with his typical back injury and that it was something different.
#NYR Chris Kreider (upper body) is going on IR, but he can be activated at any time.
There was no setback, he's just taking longer to heal than expected. Word is it isn't the back injury from earlier this season.

Chris Kreider opens up and reveals shocking surgery he underwent last season
During Chris Kreider's latest interview with New York Rangers analyst Peter Baugh, Kreider opened up and revealed that he had undergone surgery during his final season with the New York Rangers.
Chris Kreider revealed that he needed to have surgery done to his hand, and while doing so they put a metal plate in his hand to «hold it together."
Something that can surly be related to why we seen such a decline in his production last season as the star forward only managed to tally 22 goals and 8 assists for a total of 30 points in 68 games played.
As the 34-year continued to become more injury prone over the 2024-25 season, it makes sense as to why Chris Drury decided to move Kreider when he still could.
