The New York Rangers are poised to secure their next win in a match against the Detroit Red Wings today. Ahead of the game, they've made a recall from the Hartford Wolfpack. Is Scott Morrow going to slot into the lineup?

The Blueshirts have a chance to do something they have not since October 2024; extending their win streak to four games.
Last season, they began their streak with a win on home ice against the Detroit Red Wings. With both clubs maintaining their goals of a run to the playoffs, Mike Sullivan's Rangers will be hungry tonight.
There's a bit of synchronicity afoot, as the team is piecing together win by win, and Sunday night could prove to be monumental to their next run.
The Rangers (10-7-2) have won seven of nine (7-2-0), buoyed by a pair of three-game win streak.

The team ended the night against the Columbus Blue Jackets with a 2-1 finish, and played solid defense against a team that is one of the best at 5v5 play.
To bolster the lineup tonight against the Detroit Red Wings, the Rangers have recalled defenseman Scott Morrow from the AHL's Hartford Wolfpack.

The New York Rangers Projected Lineup:

Will Cuylle - Mika Zibanejad - J.T. Miller

Artemi Panarin - Vincent Trocheck - Alexis Lafreniere

Juuso Parssinen - Noah Laba - Conor Sheary

Adam Edstrom - Sam Carrick - Taylor Raddysh

Vladislav Gavrikov - Adam Fox

Carson Soucy - Braden Schneider

Urho Vaakanainen - Scott Morrow

Jonathan Quick

Igor Shesterkin

A Ranger's storyline to pay attention to tonight ahead of the game against the Red Wings is prospect Scott Morrow.
Morrow has yet to claim a spot in the lineup, but could get a long look in the roster depending on how long Will Borgen is out of the lineup.

The New York Rangers Recall Scott Morrow on Sunday

Scott Morrow was selected 40th overall in the 2nd round of the 2021 NHL Draft and came to New York in a trade for defenseman K'Andre Miller.
Since he's arrived, he's had no appearances in the NHL this season, but could make his NHL debut for the New York Rangers.
The team has recalled Morrow since reassigning forward Gabe Perreault back to the AHL's Hartford Wolfpack.
We could see him make his debut next to defenseman Carson Soucy while Will Borgen is out of the lineup due to injury.
In 11 games this season for the Wolfpack, he's scored 2 points (1-1), and his appearance tonight is all pending on the health of Will Borgen.
