Transaction: New York Rangers Complete Another Round Of Roster Cuts Leaving Only 41 Players Remaining

Just moments ago, President and General Manager Chris Drury announced another round of roster cuts from Training Camp on Monday afternoon.

According to several reports, the New York Rangers have officially cut another six-players from training camp on Monday, five-players being assigned to the American Hockey League to join the Hartford Wolf Pack, and one players being released from his Professional Tryout (PTO).
#NYR just made six more cuts to the roster.

Jaroslav Chmelař, Jackson Dorrington, Case McCarthy, Adam Sýkora and Kalle Väisänen have been assigned to AHL Hartford and Andrej Sustř has been released from his tryout.

41 players are left in NHL camp.
As stated above, 34-year old defenseman Andrej Sustr has been released from his Professional Tryout with the New York Rangers. The former Tampa Bay Lightning, hasn't played in the NHL since the 2021-22 season and was looking to make a comeback after spending the last three years playing in Europe in various leagues.

New York Rangers Cut Training Camp Roster Down To 41.

Following the New York Rangers roster cut of six-players, they now have 41 players remaining in Training Camp. The roster breakdown is listed below:
Forwards (24): Brett Berard, Anton Blidh, Brendan Brisson, Jonny Brodzinski, Sam Carrick, Will Cuylle, Justin Dowling, Adam Edstrom, Trey Fix-Wolansky, Noah Laba, Alexis Lafreniere, Bryce McConnell-Barker, J.T. Miller, Brennan Othmann, Artemi Panarin, Juuso Parssinen, Gabe Perreault, Taylor Raddysh, Matt Rempe, Dylan Roobroeck, Conor Sheary, Carey Terrance, Vincent Trocheck, Mika Zibanejad

Defensemen (13): Will Borgen, Casey Fitzgerald, Adam Fox, Vladislav Gavrikov, Blake Hillman, Connor Mackey, Scott Morrow, Derrick Pouliot, Matthew Robertson, Brandon Scanlin, Braden Schneider, Carson Soucy, Urho Vaakanainen

Goaltenders (4): Talyn Boyko, Dylan Garand, Jonathan Quick, Igor Shesterkin

The Rangers opening-night is just about a week away, where they will face the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 7th, which means we are sure to see more and more roster cuts to come in the next few days.
