A Pair Of Suspensions From The NHL Department Of Player Safety

The NHL Department Of Player Safety has announced a pair of suspensions.

Detroit's David Perron has been suspended for six games for cross-checking Ottawa's Artem Zub.
Columbus' Erik Gudbranson has been suspended for one game under rule 46.2 (Aggressor) for an altercation with Florida's Nick Cousins.
Perron will forfeit $148,437.48 as a result of the suspension.
Gudbranson will forfeit $20,833.33 as a result of the suspension.
Perron can choose to appeal to a neutral arbitrator.
