Martin Necas came out strong and got the first goal for the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 6 against the New York Rangers, Necas received a beautiful feed from teammate Jordan Martinook, from behind the net.

As the first period comes to an end, the Hurricanes were the only ones to get on the scoreboard, leading 1-0. Hopefully this doesn't determine the rest of the night for the Rangers.
