The New York Rangers travel to Utah to take on the Mammoth in the Delta Center tonight. Ahead of the game, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reported on the status of defenseman Will Borgen.

In the Delta Center at 9 P.M. tonight, the New York Rangers will look to dig themselves out of the hole they've been in.
At 8th in the Metropolitan Division, the honeymoon phase of Mike Sullivan's tenure has ended. Now, he needs to convince the team to strap in and turn on the afterburners and go streaking.
It's kind of difficult to do without your regular players in the lineup, including defenseman Will Borgen who is out dealing with an injury.
According to Peter Baugh of The Athletic, the Blueshirts defenseman won't be in the lineup against the Utah Mammoth.

With Will Borgen's status remaining day-to-day for the New York Rangers, they will have to continue to utilize prospects to fill the gaps in the lineup.

Mike Sullivan said on Thursday that Borgen's injury status is a situation the team will have to manage accordingly going forward.
