Legendary Broadcaster Sam Rosen Sends The New York Rangers A Special Message Ahead Of Home-Opener

The New York Rangers' opening night will take place against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Madison Square Garden. Ahead of the showdown between the two Metropolitan Division rivals, beloved announcer Sam Rosen sent a heartfelt message to the team as the 2025-26 season kicks into gear.

While retired, Sam Rosen remains a Rangers personality we will see during themed night this season. And to start the year, everyone's favorite announcers wished the Rangers President and GM Chris Drury, and the coaching staff in Mike Sullivan, Joe Sacco, Ty Hennis, and David Quinn the best of luck.
Adding to that, he wishes that the players have a career year and lead the team to a lot of wins. We mirror the sentiment wholeheartedly.

Lastly, he wished the new broadcasting team of Kenny Albert and Dave Malone a great season with the hopes they get to call some exciting games in 2025-26.
The Rangers will need to bounce back from their 2024-25 season next year, which they finished 5th in the Metropolitan Division.

While Rosen, finished his 40-year career as an announcer with the Rangers after the end of last season.
