New insight has revealed the New York Rangers will be faced with a massive issue heading into next season if it is not addressed prior to opening-night.

The New York Rangers' general manager, Chris Drury, and the front office have been evidently pursuing the organization' retool thus far into the offseason.
However, the organization's biggest variable heading into next season is what to do regarding the team's third-line center position.
This aspect is in dire need to be addressed prior to the Rangers' 2025/26 NHL campaign if they intend to make postseason contention for next season, as the team has ultimately lacked in this area.
With that being said, let's dissect potential third-line center candidate.

The New York Rangers' best options for third-line center

If the end of last season has any carry over to 2025/26, it would seem as though Juuso Parssinen and Jonny Brodzinski are the likely candidates to play the third-line center, with Mika Zibanejad playing right wing on J.T. Miller's line, where he flourished down the stretch.
However, would the Rangers be better served if Zibanejad remains at his natural center position and Vincent Trocheck fills the 3C hole to give the team a more balanced attack?
Although it is uncertain which direction the organization should go, three potential trade candidates that could help the team overall would be:
Parssinen was given an immediate shot at the third line, however it was short lived.
With his opportunity being minimal, maybe this forward could offer the Rangers what they need if they give him another shot to flourish.
Jonny Brodzinski
Brodzinski is extremely versatile, and just like Parssinen, maybe if the organization gave him the opportunity to flourish, he could offer the third-line more than this Original Six franchise is aware of.
If New York Rangers' newly acquired head coach, Mike Sullivan, decides to keep Zibanejad at center and completely utilize the Rangers' high-end depth at the position, this forward may just be the best option for a third-line center.
Additionally, Trocheck has all the aspects you'd want to center a third line, his excellence winning face-offs, consistency on the forecheck, all while producing offensively down the middle is very intriguing.
Which player do you think the New York Rangers should move to third-line center for the 2025/26 NHL season?
