NHL insider confirms a massive issue that needs to be addressed regarding the New York Rangers' roster remaining incomplete.

The New York Rangers have made their presence known thus far into their offseason thus, as they have acquired, departed, and re-signed several players within the National Hockey League.
One impeccable move the Rangers made this offseason was acquiring a new top-four defenseman, Vladislav Gavrikov, who signed with the organization as a free agent on July 1, 2025.
However, this move alone will not be enough for the New York Rangers' ongoing rebuild to be completed, as there is still a massive hole that remains in the organization's roster.

NHL insider confirms massive issue regarding the New York Rangers' roster

A recent report was made by Anthony Russo of The Hockey Writers, revealing the main area the New York Rangers are lacking.
Russo reported that regardless of the New York Rangers' recent acquisition of Gavrikov, the organization is still in dire need of a left-handed defenseman who can play in their top four.
While Morrow probably becomes the organization's second-best prospect within the Rangers who can undoubtedly be a great pickup, he is likely not an option at left defence.
Although it is unknown what the New York Rangers will do regarding their current defensemen scenario, Rangers fans are hopeful the organization resolves their issue prior to the 2025/26 NHL season.
Do you think the New York Rangers will find a top-four left-handed defenseman prior to the taking on the ice for the 2025/26 NHL season?
