Georgiev leaves the NHL with a total of 303 games played across four organizations with the Buffalo Sabres, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, and New York Rangers.
He signed a one-year deal with the Sabres for $825K AAV, but would never make an appearance in the NHL due to the nature of the team's fluctuating pipeline, which includes Alex Lyon, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, and Devon Levi.
