Some very last-minute roster changes have been made for the New York Rangers, just moments before puck drop on Wednesday night against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Back on Sunday afternoon, some unfortunate news surfaced as It was announced that captain J.T. Miller did not attend the team's practice as he had sustained an upper-body injury and would be considered day-to-day.
Miller then went on to miss Monday night's game against the St. Louis Blues, where the New York Rangers managed to pull off a 3-2 victory. However, just moments ahead of the Rangers game on Wednesday night, the captain was named as a game-time decision.
J.T. Miller returns to the New York Rangers lineup against the Carolina Hurricanes
With all that being said, Miller ended up taking warmups with the Rangers on the second line with Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck, which means Conor Sheary will be the odd-man out of the lineup for the first time this season.
Looks like J.T. Miller is back, Will Borgen is still out. Conor Sheary is a healthy scratch for the first time this season.
Certainly a massive boost for the New York Rangers as they look to secure a victory against the divisional rivals. Do you think the New York Rangers will have a boost now that Miller has returned? Let us know in the poll down below.
