Mika Zibanejad states the New York Rangers are disconnected
Following the Rangers' 3-2 loss on Saturday night to the Utah Mammoth, star forward Mika Zibanejad opened up and gave a very honest assessment of his teammates throughout their first 23 games of the season.
Here's what he had to say:
Mika Zibanejad: «I feel like we're disconnected. I think we're too far away from each other. It's a lot of one-and-dones in the O-zone, try to get on the forecheck, it's one guy, one guy, one guy. We don't come up with five together and I just feel like we're a bit late everywhere.»
Something that makes total sense for him to say, as it's very clear that something is going on, but unfortunately, we will probably never know what the issue is. But whatever it is, hopefully they can figure it out sooner than later, if they wish to make the 2025-26 playoffs.
