The New York Rangers have just recently completed an unfortunate move involving star defenseman Will Borgen, after just recently being labelled as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Since last Saturday night, New York Rangers star defenseman Will Borgen's status has been in question, given the fact that he sustained an upper-body injury and has since bounced in and out of the Rangers' lineup.
UPDATE: Will Borgen (upper body, day-to-day) will not play tonight.
However, not long after that, Will Borgen was listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury after just returning to the lineup on Tuesday night, as he missed Sunday night's game with the same injury.
Will Borgen is back down for practice today and considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury, according to the #NYR. Seems like this is something that's lingering and will have to be managed.
Something head coach Mike Sullivan even confirmed that it is, in fact, the same ongoing injury that has been lingering and will need to be dealt with accordingly.

However, on Sunday night, the New York Rangers announced a series of move involving their roster, one being that Will Borgen has now been placed on IR, retroactive to November 18th.
In a corresponding move, the #NYR are placing Will Borgen on IR retroactive to Nov. 18.
