The New York Rangers are on a slump, going 1-4-0 in their last five games. They will need help in the worst way possible. The help is currently injured, as the team has given us an update on Will Borgen and J.T. Miller's status: day-to-day.
The Blueshirts desperately need help; they've given up four out of their five games and are missing a spark of offence and a blueline that stifles the opposition.
Two of those players who could be of use to do exactly that are currently out nursing injuries.
J.T. Miller, who is still day to day, along with Will Borgen, were seen practicing in non-contact jerseys today. We were given an update on both Rangers players on injured reserve by Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
They are traveling with the team and have let them get reps during practice in non-contact jerseys.
Mike Sullivan didn't comment on Juuso Pärssinen's status. Asked if he will travel to Carolina, he said he didn't know.
J.T. Miller and Will Borgen remain day to day. They'll both travel.
